I didn't see the hearing/proceeding, but I bet he was there to vouch for what a swell guy and honorable Senator his "good friend" (if I hear another RINO Senator say that about another liberal Senator, I'm gonna PUKE) Tom Dash-hole is/was.

If I remember correctly, I believe there was some RINO they dug up to sit next to, and vouch for, the anti-gun puke Eric Holder when he was in front of his Senate comittee.
