Two young children are to be adopted by a gay couple, despite the protests of their grandparents. The grandparents first stepped in because the children's mother was unable to look after them. The couple, who cannot be named, wanted to give the five-year-old boy and his four-year-old sister a loving home themselves. But they were ruled to be too old - at 46 and 59. The devastated grandparents were told they would never see the youngsters again unless they dropped their opposition.

What went wrong is exactly what’s going wrong here. The “progressives” are relentless in their pursuit of insanity. Conservatives (the rational people) are always forced to play defense. Whenever we manage to stop them they just continue to attack somewhere else. In the “Night of the Living Dead”, the only way to kill a goul was to shoot him in the head.

And after the adoption is final. THEY WILL NEVER GET TO SEE THEIR GRANDKIDS. Who’s kidding who.
The answer is obvious--GO TO THE PRESS. get interviewed by anyone you can. Ask Britons who should raise the kids. Make a BIG STINK. The only way to defeat these perverted worms is to pull up the rock and expose them in the public light of day.
They need to NAME THEMSELVES, and be interviewed by whomever will do so, no matter what the agency or any court might say.
This is almost exactly what is happening to us in the USA right now.
Grandparents are being dumped because we “care too much” and our grandkids are headed to stranger foster home. Our son needs help because he married a bi-polar girl. Kids 3 and 1.
“Forced adoption should be here in the US very shortly.”
This would have happen after taking our guns, free press and maybe even religion too.
It’s a shame this is the UK, so Grandpa can’t be standing there on the front porch with a shotgun when they come to get the children. Instead he will be standing aside with empty hands while the police take them away.

well, if the grandparents went on welfare then they could afford to raise the children as that was one of the excuses used to keep them from adopting them.
Also, I wonder what the guide lines are for the same sex couple.
Because it is very rare for a male union to last more than a few years, do they have to prove how long they have been together?
