don’t count on the media to ask him that question either.
All is roses in the white house media room.
the bitter racist angry woman hasn’t done squat yet, phony is more interested in going on TV and giving interviews to his friendly media and meanwhile the general, Admiral and chief of staff’s are in dire straits along with our boys and girls plus our best ally

Whatever the prior merits or demerits, there is no doubt that the efforts of the US, with the Army and Marines, have drastically changed the course of Iraq for the better. That is absolutely true and I've personally given it five years of my life because I believed in it all along, even when most said it was hopeless. I try not to think about how devastating it would be to see all of that lost...for all of us.

It's more than just Iraq. He ordered the closing of Gitmo and stopped the trial of the planner of 9/11. He changed and announced new interrogation...er questioning...interviewing techniques for terrorists. He is working to reverse several other Bush national security measures.
I'd say he owns all current and future national security issues including the WOT, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran and even N. Korea. BTW - Did you notice that N. Korea is threatening to test another long range missile? It sounds like they want some more US concessions. Kim Jon Ill doesn't write letters. He is that kid that gets attention by bad behavior.

Why would a democrat adjust to the reality presented by someone who is succeeding?

My guess is that the significance of Petraeus showing up for the SuperBowl coin toss is that the public was instantly reminded of the lack of Iraq on the news and that this man is running military operations, and not to get too fanciful, the first campaign stop of the 2012 Election.
Petraeus/Palin? Petraeus/Rice? or vice versa.

Obama will cry for the dead and oppressed Iraqis and the loss of American influence ....
Just like the democrats cried over the millions dead in Cambodia. He could care less. Liberals are immoral.

Sometimes I wish everyone I know would read Bing West’s masterpiece, The Strongest Tribe.
But, being in Obamastan(Boston Metro), that’s asking for too much.

The assertion that Obama's withdrawal policy threatens the gains allegedly won by the Bush troop surge and Petraeus' strategy in Iraq will apparently be the theme of the campaign that military opponents are now planning.I see the Lebanon Star has taken to emulating the US Media.

Anyone seen something similar to this from another source? There were reports that the meeting was tense, but none with this much detail. It was printed in the Lebanon Star, which doesn't have to be excerpted, but the underlying source is Inter Press Service in Rome. They could be wrong.

This is really bad. Petreus was the architect of a strategy that calmed a highly volatile area. To ignore him is a huge folly by Barry and if the place goes up in flames he will have to eat it.

Obama administration = Carter redux
We now have an American hostage in Pakistan. The similarities between the Carter administration and Obama are multiplying.

I say he’s both. He’ll be the worst White House presiding occupant (I refuse to call him President) the country has had in its history. He’ll also be its most disloyal.
The 2010 election should be around the theme of impeachment.

Meant to include their website link,
Inter Press Service. My impression only, they tend to take a leftist approach to most things.
