You must have placed that grid there for a reason...the letters don’t line up?
Well, they don't line up on the posted image, except as indicated by the grid. The location of the grid (actually they are gaps, I just slid the pieces apart) is pretty typical of jpg images, so I chose those obvious locations. The top two images are from the left column, and the last two from the middle column, of the COLB. If you were to take the COLB and cut it up like you were going to use it to tile your bathroom, that is where the grout lines would be, with tiles that are 8 pixels to a side.
I wanted people to be able to compare adjacent tiles in terms of color, variety of color, and what people have been calling "halo"...
