I was sloppy. What I meant to post was "I'd wager that no one on FR knew six months ago ... i.e. when the BC posted on Kos was altered.
Even if the cert did, couldn't they just redact it? Now no one would question why that was redacted for obvious reasons.
Suppose I'm posting this birth certificate. It has a number, a unique identifier that could provide access to ... I don't know what. Rather than put in the research to find out what that number opens the door to, before I put it out to the wide world, I'm likely to err on the side of caution. Especially if I'm on a deadline.
The Occam's Razor answer is that the person posting the photo didn't want it used to access other information. Which would necessarily include verifying it with the state database.
It's a leap to assume that the person who redacted the certificate number knew that there was some specific information he was helping to hide. It is an even farther leap to assume that the certificate number was redacted at the behest of the Obama campaign, especially since they allowed other groups to photograph the certificate with the number unobscured.

Indeed, a plausible argument, though to assume the person doing it might be trying to hide something is just as possible.
That's the problems with all of the arguments here as most have valid points.
As I mentioned earlier, I have not been convinced either way. Sheesh, everything about this guy is cloaked in secrecy. School records, papers, grades, friends and on and on.
It certainly is no stretch to think he's possibly illegitimate vis a vie his Constitutional eligibility.
There is much too much that doesn't add up with everything that's going on here...like I said, a political coupe.
Wherever he was born, maybe Mars for all I know, but the one thing I know for sure is that he is an enemy of America and for what she stands for. You can take that to the bank, my FRiend.
