No problem, everyone I know already emailed Glenn to tell him to retract the story. Also, if you go on Michelle Malkin’s web site you will see as of Jan 13th Perry, Palin, and Sanford were all on the same page in regards to the stimulus package, all three are against it
Also, why am I reading such hate on Perry, from what I have seen of him, he seems like a good guy, and Kay Bailey treated Sarah like crap when she was introduced as McCain’s running mate, what goes around comes around Kay Bailey

Even if he retracts it, it’s out there now and it’s wrong.

I saw Glenn Beck’s show today too. In general, I kind of like the guy...but today he had me yelling at him. I wrote to our Alaska Senators again today and now I’ll write to Glenn Beck as well.

I’m w/ you SB, I think I cut and pasted the same blog response and email 1000 times today about Sarah bein AGAINST the stimulus. I refuse to do it again here.

Now, as for Perry, being from Texas, I have had a few issues w/ him, little RINO at times, he’s been a tad weak on immigration (trans corridor project) and had the the issue w/ the HPV vaccination a while back, which is surprising b/c he is very socially conservative. Overall, he’s been a pretty good governor since W left. He’s definitely fiscally conservative.

What is surprising about this endorsement is the way he seemed to treat Sarah at the Govs meeting late last year, practically yanking her away from the mike at the press conference when she was the only one getting questions, but they do seem to be good buds. A buddy of mine from here wanted Hutch to get the VP slot, glad she didn’t and yes, she was extremely bitter and shunned Sarah. Payback time...

What makes me most happy about this (in addition that Perry is an A&M grad — WHOOOP!!) is that hopefully Sarah’s endorsement will keep Hutch out of the race. I would not vote for her in the primary, she is a RINO, VERY weak on immigration, which is a huge problem here, and she voted recently for the S-Chip. Plus, she needs to stay in the senate, or we’ll risk losing the seat. As much as it pains me to say it, TX is becoming more blue, thanks to the infestation of libs in the cities and I fear Hutch (even though a RINO) giving up that seat may let a Dem, like my mayor Bill White strongly compete for it. But maybe someone like Mike Williams could retain it. I’d also like to see Dan Patrick (VERY conservative state senator here run for that seat if Hutch bails).

Finally as AP would say on hotair, exit question — why would Sarah come out at this time and make this endorsement? Does it have anything to do w/ this stimulus controversy? It definitely shows solidarity b/w the two, i.e. the MM link referenced above.

Gov. Perry is a very good governor, signs every pro-gun bill and is heads and shoulders above the sorry excuses for governors in other states. Manages fiscal house well.
