How will we make progress when the face of the GOP has a “wide stance” for gay marriage, and gay rights? When the Party says WE must reach out to “special” interests, and not the other way around. When our platform’s only reference to illegal immigration is secure the borders (as if), and then we can work out the details. When we have NOT ONE Senator or Representative who will put forth a proposal to return the issue of Abortion to the States?

Nope. We might field a candidate that can be elected. But, that candidate won’t be a Conservative, just a Republican.

The GOP can be saved IF someone (Palin and Jindal are the ONLY possibilities I can think of) steps forward and makes a speech like this one that Ronald Reagan made at the 1975 CPAC Convention:

Ronald Reagan: Let Them Go Their Way
