What Katrina taught the media was that they could hurt Bush by lying. What 2008 taught them was that they could help Obama by not reporting at all. What will 2009 teach them? "Would you like fries with that?"

You know, I really don’t get this obsession with Obama’s thermostat. It’s one of the few thing that I think the man and I could actually sit down and agree on. My thermostat is likewise near 80, and it always has been. Up until now, I didn’t realize it made me a bad guy outside of econut circles.

During the campaign, Obama made several notorious statements about how awful it was for Americans to keep their thermostats above 72 degrees.
It doesn't make those people bad, but it does make the 0 a hypocrite.
And of course he never tires lecturing us smaller people about the evil of global warming - until it's 0’s right to burn fossil fuels that's being questioned.

The man and his supporters intend to take away your choice of where you set your thermostat, what you drive, and how much you eat. Of course, it’ll start out as “encouragement to do the right thing”. But since when are leftists satisfied with voluntary compliance?
Obama:
“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK.”
