Expert straw man argument.

Christianity does not support totalitarianism, at least not on purpose. Without Christianity there would be no USA.

Agreed, CHRISTIANITY does not support totalitarianism, but it does appear that some CHRISTIANS have been seduced by the siren call of totalitarianism in the service of specific goals. Moreover, as with previous moral crusades, those seduced by power will claim to do so in the name of God.

The Founding Fathers were Christian, but they (with the exception of Hamilton and his faction) feared and distrusted a government allowed to escape the bounds set in the Constitution. There is NO good reason, no matter how noble or worthy, to unleash the beast of government upon the People. We have forgotten the lesson our forefathers tried to teach us, and it has been to our detriment.
