During the election 1260 WWRC AM was “Obama Radio” and 570 WTNT-AM was “McCain Radio.” I noticed that 570 is now “Freedom Radio” or some such thing...they Play Bennett, Mancow, Laura Ingram, Savage...

WWRC was once WRC. One of the Washington stations that started up in the Twenties. It may have been the NBC affiliate from day one.
When I was a kid, Ed Walker and Willard Scott were the Joy Boys in the evening. They were a scream. Mornings, there were Al Ross, and Patty Cavin, who were local. And the NBC network soap operas. At night, D.J.s who played what’s called “easy listening” nowadays—non-Rock Pop music—the remaining Big Bands and the Rat Pack stuff.

I heard today that WTNT is going to have a new conservative host this week but their website is down for maintenance, perhaps updating it for the big announcement. Have you heard who the new conservative host might be?
