WASHINGTON — While her inaugural wear, choice of a decorator and disapproval of unauthorized Sasha and Malia dolls make headlines, first lady Michelle Obama has quietly assembled a staff that's steeped in women's and workplace issues to support her role as a policy advocate.
The Harvard-trained lawyer, community organizer and hospital executive offered a glimpse of what's to come when her husband, President Barack Obama, on Thursday signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act, which gives women more legal standing to sue for pay discrimination. The first lady was in the audience, not at the president's side — but she spoke at the private reception afterward.

Can’t help but notice the comments after almost every online article these days. It doesn’t seem to matter the subject matter, the BDS folks always show up to spew their vitriol.

When it comes to Barack, love him or not, agree with him or not, he’s still one sharp guy. But Michelle is an affirmative action baby from the get go. I mean, she gets a job with one of the top law firms in the country and what does she do there? Really, what did she actually do at the law firm? Then she works for Mayor Daley and then she’s some kind of hospital executive. The lady has a law degree from Harvard and she’s working at a job that has nothing to do with law. Something doesn’t smell right.
This is truly a den of vipers.

So if equal pay for women is Michelle’s big interest why did reports regularly mention that the women in Obama’s campaign staff were paid much less than the men doing the same jobs? Another of the Obama’s “do as we say, not as we do” philosophy?!
If she bakes a couple of plates of cookies she may qualify to be the Senator from New York when she grows up.
I gotta tell ya, Krankor, he doesn’t strike me as the least bit sharp.
He comes across as a cocky, arrogant know-it-all. He is a dolt and a thug.
Barack, a sharp guy? You must be kidding. His grammar is poor. He uses words incorrectly.
Go to google and look up his statement that went something like this: President Bush has invited Michelle and I...” Also, look up Barry’s misuse of the word enormity.

And why is that a surprise to you? Open up the main Whitehouse web page and look at the bottom, in the middle, to see who is in the “Administration”. It’s been that way since day one.
Did you ever read her thesis? Looked like eight grade stuff.
Look out single and non-parent workers: sounds like the end of equal pay for equal work to me.

First of all... taking on conservative talk radio, and Rush Limbaugh, is not the brightest move.
I've also seen this guy without a teleprompter. It's embarrassing listen to him trying to find a coherent thought.
after Michelle Obama’s infamous statement ...”this is the first time i’m proud...” she was sequestered because she had no MSM public profile hence we heard nothing.
Now she is in the WH and still lacking a public profile only saying her job is to be Mom-in-Chief .
I guess the MSM will have to come up with a brand new spanking glossed over (magazine covers only) to push her image as lily white and as that said, she is not.
