Employees don’t get to decide how much a company makes. They can only decide if they want to work there or not. If you don’t like the salary then go find a job somewhere else.

That's why they unionized...You noticed that Shell leaders were doing the negotiations for the entire industry...That means the gas producers have unionized...

Is there competition amongst the producers??? Of course not..They're a union...

The increases the employees union wants would likely result in less tha a penny per gallon increase in the cost of gas...

With countless billions in PROFIT, it ought to be clear to anyone that the workforce is not the cause of high gas prices...

Look at the retailers...They raised the price 25 cents a gallon 'just in case' there's a strike...25 cents pure profit with no justification...Talk about robbery...

Such a simple concept and yet so few people who 'claim' to look for employment understand it! Paraphrasing Peter Drucker, only Investors and Customers decide how much a company can make...not unions, employees, government, angels or any other 'group' the media invites onto your TV Screen to imply otherwise! Years of schooling won't help in understanding that unfortunately, so Academe is clueless as the media on this issue!
