Obama hates white people and wants them to die
American Thinker ^ | January 31, 2009 | Rick Moran

Posted on 01/31/2009 3:03:47 PM PST by fiodora

With nearly 1.5 million people in the mid-west without power during a cold snap, what other possible reason is there that this new "competent" administration and FEMA would be failing so spectacularly in helping in this natural disaster?

It's got to be that Obama hates white people and wants them to die!

Of course, I am just aping what lefty blogs were saying about Bush less than 24 hours after Katrina's hurricane winds stopped blowing. But AP is reporting that Midwest disaster relief people are none too pleased with our new president's FEMA.

In Kentucky's Grayson County, there are 25 National Guardsmen there to help - but no chain saws to cut away fallen limbs and trees. EM Director Randell Smith is quoted as saying, "We've got people out in some areas we haven't even visited yet," Smith said. "We don't even know that they're alive."

Smith is also quoted as saying that FEMA is a "no show."

What's that? Here we are 5 days after the storm ended and still no FEMA? I demand a Congressional investigation. And let's get all the anchors and media people down here pronto. People's lives are at stake. For all we know, there are babies being eaten and people jumping off their roofs committing suicide because FEMA is nowhere to be found.

And where is our president? Shouldn't he be visiting these ravaged areas? It must be that he HATES WHITE PEOPLE AND WANTS THEM TO DIE. That is the only possible explanation for this incredible failure of our national government to relieve the suffering of these people.

Isn't it interesting that now that we have a Democrat as president that all of a sudden, disaster relief is a state and local matter and the federal government should stand aside and allow them to do their jobs?

Just wondering...

"I’m confused .. how can 2 million blacks get into Washington DC in sub zero temps in 1 day when 200,000 couldn’t get out of New Orleans at 85 degrees with four days notice."

No need to be confused, those who went to the inauguration didn't have just 1 day to get to Washington DC., they had 2 months and 16 days to make travel and hotel arrangements. They also had the advantage of knowing that the inauguration was actually going to be in Washington DC on a given date, at a given time and not change location at the last minute and take place in say......Baltimore. You can't really think that this hurricane analogy really hangs together, can you?

FWIW, I am not black, and I evacuated for Katrina (and Gustave), but I can understand how for some people doing so might be an impossibility. Four days might seem like a lot of time, but when you have to secure several family homes against a storm, make sure that you have all of your 90 year old mother-in-law's prescriptions, clean out refrigerators, try to find a hotel with vacancies within a reasonable driving distance that also takes pets (we were able find hotel rooms in Birmingham approx.360 miles from our home - keep in mind that New Orleans was not the only area that was evacuating),four days isn't much time at all. And there's no getting away from the fact that evacuating takes money. Many don't have the wherewithal to spend several days away from home, let alone nearly a month as was the case in the Katrina aftermath.

No one would have cared in the Media even if Bush were in office because these are mainly White people suffering out there in rural Kentucky, Arkansas, etc.

The ice storm that has hit is the worst storm EVER to hit Kentucky. Nearly one million people are without power in FREEZING temperatures, not 85 degrees as in Katrina. 52 People have already lost their lives and many rural areas have not even been checked yet. Obama has ignored this DISASTER, even though he has repeatedly claimed NEVER AGAIN to another Katrina. FEMA is a no show. He has not even mentioned this disaster or worked with FEMA and the National Guard.

What incredibly stupid questions!

First of all King nObama is in the Oval Office with the thermostat set on 80 degrees.

Second, he's not gonna risk his ass to go visit a bunch of white, Kentucky rednecks. Thanks to his urging, they're clinging to lots of guns. He's no fool.

You left out Sean Penn.

Surely, this disaster isn't too small for him?

Jim Lehrer (Disgraced PBS, kneepad Democrat): "This is not Katrina.
PBS's chosen Messiah Obama is not required to do anything.
Look in my eyes and die quietly."

Obama doesn't need Kentucky. The state has given a majority of its popular votes to the Democrat only twice in his lifetime (1964 and 1976--Clinton carried the electoral votes both times, but only because of Perot). It would only be necessary for him to do something if the media were making him appear to be responsible for the suffering, which they won't do.

The media made it appear that all the suffering in New Orleans was Bush's fault. If Katrina had happened while Clinton was President, he would have done a better job of photo ops to show that "he cared," but even if the suffering had been even greater than what did happen, the media wouldn't have put the blame on him.

While it is funny to ask where Obama and FEMA is, last night it was 10ºf with lower windchills here in SE Ohio. Further south of here are where the outages begin. I’d imagine when they get the power back on there are going to be a lot of old people who live alone froze to death. I am truely getting very upset about no one coming to help. Where are they? Couldn’t someone send guardsmen fro other states to help with clearing the roads?

” Gov. SteveBeshear said Thursday during a tour of Western Kentucky that Obama called him about 9 p.m. Wednesday and they spoke for about 10 minutes.”

Nice of Barry to take time out after..after..
his Happy Hour with the vodka martinis and his Wagyu beef to check on the little people without electricity.
And hot food.
Including many members of the military and their families.
600 seconds for the troops.
Now..when did the power go out for millions ?
Monday, IIRC.
Barry is incredibly self indulgent.
His media slobbers continue to cover for him.
Maybe they’re hoping for some Wagyu leftovers.

New Orleans got hit by a hurricane. When Kentucky gets hit by a hurricane, Obama will be there to help.
