Another India exposed
The Washington Times ^ | January 29, 2009 | Julia Duin

Last summer, a priest was tortured and a nun gang-raped in Kandhmal, a cauldron of radical Hinduism and the site of an anti-Christian pogrom in August.

The depressing details of it all have been previously described by this writer: 70,000 homeless Christians, more than 5,000 homes destroyed, 3,000 people missing and/or hiding in the nearby jungles for the past five months, 87 people burned or hacked to death and the infrastructure of the Catholic Church destroyed.

Hundreds of their schools, churches and other institutions have been destroyed. Displaced people sitting in refugee camps are afraid to return to their villages.

And this repression of Christians is ignored even by Christians because they want to pretend that India is a democracy and pretend that it's our friend, neither of which is true.

I wonder how the Hindus and Muslims here in the US would feel if we torched temples devoted to pagan gods, and mosques that glorify a “prophet” who was a serial bigamist, a statutory child rapist and a genocidal killer?

They’d feel we were “intolerant”.

“I’d like the American government to tell the government in India to take some serious actions to prevent this from happening again,” said the archbishop...

Fat chance of that, I think.

I did see slumdog millionaire and there are parts of the movie where India should be embarrassed. There is one short scene where radical muslims gangs start killing people. Maybe the movie will bring attention to what is going on in India. It does seem it is open season on Christians all around the world.

I have had all I can take from these Hindu Chauvinists. From now on it's ‘Bombay’ and not that ridiculous ‘Mumbai’.

Am I mistaken, or has this situation been virtually ignored by the MSM and the UN?

No outcry from the MSM. Of course, in response to these atrocities, this country has been importing Hindus just as they did with the Somalis after "Black Hawk Down."

I recall a few years ago when India was trashing the USA for our race relations - maybe they still are. This from a country with a caste system and torture rapes of Christians.

“Am I mistaken, or has this situation been virtually ignored by the MSM and the UN?”

The UN has barely tip-toed across this issue. Read this and see for yourself:

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/asia/article4727215.ece

It’s referred to in the most generic of terms. The Christians who practically don’t fight back at all are largely ignored, though there are worries that Muslims might be targeted. (Kind of obvious given the Islamic extremist elements in Southern India.)

No official action has been taken here. It’s not likely any will be taken. Years ago there were strong Christian nations who might have stood up for this. Now they all worship the ghosts of multiculturalism.

As if BO gives a flying you-know-what about the human rights of other people.

In the northeast of India, for the last 60 years,
every tribe that has converted to xtianity has an armed
secessionist insurgency, funded by western churches

Google up NLFT and Tripura and also Nagaland
The baptist NLFT does forced conversion to xtianity
at gunpoint since 1993
There are several news reports on this that you can google up

These insurgencies have gone on since 1948
and these xtian separatists are funded by islamic pakistan,
commie china and western churches

Also google up Reang and Mizoram
In the 95% xtian state of Mizoram,
40000 hindu reangs have been ethnic cleansed since
1990, for refusing to convert to xtianity

The violence happened in Orissa in the district
of Kandhmahal ( Kandh Land )
The population is 60% Kandh ( hindu tribal, similar to
Amerindian ) and 20% Pana ( xtian untouchable, similar to black )
Just as Amerind reservation land cannot be sold to non-tribals, Kandh tribal land cannot be sold to outsiders

The Panas were professional thieves, similar to gypsies
In India, Affirmative action has separate sections for
Hindu untouchables and Separate for Tribals

The Panas first cheated the hindu untouchable by converting to xtianity and hiding their conversion to get money from church as well as Indian govt

Next they got false tribal origin certifates and stole Kandh
( = Amerind ) land and built churches on tribal land

Using false tribal certificates, the Panas stole
Affirmative action jobs from Kandh tribals
( = blacks screwing amerinds )

Next the Panas started to lobby to be dual classified as
both Untouchable and Tribal to legally steal
Affirmative action jobs from the kandhs

Next, many of them joined maoists, ( most Indian maoists are
xtian liberation theologists ) and got weapons and stole more Kandh lands through thuggery

The Pana church is the community leader of the Panas and
fully complicit in the Pana thievery

Finally the Panas hired xtian maoists to kill the Kandh religious leader

At this point the long suffering ( over 40 years of Pana exploitation ) Kandhs snapped
and started exterminating the Pana church leaders

Article by Vishal Mangalwadi, a noted anti-hindu xtian evangelist on the Orissa violence

Christmas May Not Bring Peace to India

Pro-Christian Maoists (who practice the precept of China’s late Chairman Mao Zedong
that political power comes from bullets, not ballots) have already released their hit list
naming specific Hindu leaders they plan to kill for instigating violent attacks on
Christians during the two riots of last winter and this August-September. The world has
a right to ask: Why do the Maoists love Christians so much that they will go out to kill
Hindus who oppose conversions?
(iii) Indian Christian leadership (a) deceives none but itself by asserting that no connection
exists between Christians and the Maoists who murdered the Swami for harassing
Christians and are threatening to kill other Hindu leaders because they are opposed to
conversions. On 16th October, in an interview to the Press Trust of India, Mr Arun Ray,
the Inspector General of Police, said that “Maoists were given money to train certain
youth of a particular community [i.e., Christian] to eliminate Saraswati.”
Also, the Church (b) deceives the world by projecting Orissa violence as “religious
persecution.” The fact is that neither of the two violent attacks in Orissa started as
religious persecution: Swami Laxmanda began turning a socio-economic campaign into
a religious conflict and a naïve Christian leadership played into his hands and is turning
it into religious persecution through a spin that has been simplistic at best and deceptive
at worst.
[The phrase “religious persecution” should be reserved for a situation where a religious
community is attacked for practicing or propagating its faith, not when it is attacked for
making demands for affirmative action programs that threaten other communities or
because it is believed to have assassinated a revered leader of another community
(directly or indirectly).]
(iv) The following (revised) write-ups propose (a) A practical agenda for making peace (b)
Explain the conflict and © Call Christians to have the courage to own responsibility and
exercise leadership in peace-making. In brief, my suggestion is that in order to initiate a
process of reconciliation, a group of Christian leaders should go to the site where Swami
Laxmananda was murdered, offer an apology and fast and pray for 24 hours as an act of
penance.
