Bruce is a frickin liar. His team didn't know? Bruce didn't know? If Brucie was so plugged into workers rights, he would have known about this since this has been a huge issue for Wal-Mart for YEARS if not more than a decade.

Bruce and his "people" knew EXACTLY who they were partnering with because it was the surest way to MAKE HUGE $$$$ selling his CD instead of going digital via downloads.

Someone should really call him on his bald face lie.

My money says Springsteen has never walked into a wal-mart in his life.

Walmart. Workers’ rights.

All of the Walmart employees work there voluntarily, right?

Am I missing something (other than the obvious — that they are non-union and therefore are abusing workers)?

He's so full of crap. He allowed Walmart to distribute his so-called music because he knows that they know how to sell.

I don’t get Bruce Springsteen. Bad whiny voice, nonsensical lyrics and a fake working class image. He’s a mystery to me.

Some fans were critical because Springsteen has been a longtime supporter of worker's rights, and Wal-Mart has faced criticism for its labor practices.

Because they're HIRING? Just another frickin' leftist idiot.

Communism is formed on the back of workers rights. When you hear that term, perk up those ears.

what a horse’s behind.

Never liked him even when I was a leftie and ‘rocker’, as I even had some sense then, and I’m talkin’ since late 1970’s.

sense grew when I left, of course. I honestly think liberals simply don’t achieve ethical maturity as they just level off somewhere convenient.

what a horse’s behind Springstien is.

Walmart is running a lawful business, and the more the libs demonize it, the more I want to patronize it.

Why are unions seen as synonymous with “worker’s rights”? Doesn’t everyone realize by now that they are legal monopolies that keep prices artificially high by restricting supply (and thereby keeping people who aren’t fortunate enough to be in a union from earning a living)?

Bruce hasn’t written a decent song in 24 years. They all sound like the same droning jumble to me. Where is the passion of “Asbury Park” or “Thunder Road”? He’s long past lost it.

Some fans were critical

Which fans would those be? The BMW Democrats who've never darkened the door of a WalMart because they don't want to shop with the commoners? Seems to me there are plenty of Springsteen fans who are content to purchase his music from their local WalMarts. Otherwise Wally World wouldn't stock it.

Woldemort, the store that shall not be named. /s

Wonder if Springsteen would admit that telling his draft board that he was a homo so he could avoid serving was a mistake?

Bruce's manager:

"...let's start with the premise that Bruce is already in Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has been 15% of our sales in recent years. It's not a question of going into Wal-Mart; we're there. They, and other retailers, are all looking for some way to differentiate themselves, and we try to accommodate each one."

Speaking of bald faced liars and hypocrites.............what I really want to know is this: When will the wealthy Hollywood and "artistic" types who make faaaar more than the average worker divest themselves of their windfall profits?

After all, isn't it true, according to they, that no one....NO ONE, needs more than what they need to survive on?

I'll wait for the hypocrititical Left to respond.

(crickets)

Whew. I saw this guy put on a terrific show at Eisenhower Auditorium at Penn State - - in 19seventy-freaking-4.
That was 35 years ago.
This guy has been a washed up fossil for at least two decades. Why can’t some people just go away?
