While this is despicable, I'm curious on what basis the activists were originally asked to leave. Were they considered trespassers under university rules? Refusing to leave at that point is what got them arrested.
Now, if they were students who had a right to be there under peaceful circumstances, that's a whole different kettle of fish.

I don't get it....the gay and lesbian side can do anything and get away with it, but put a pro-life in front of a group and one person complains and this happens! Definitely EQUAL RIGHTS!!??? (sarc)
I love the comments of the person who was arrested! They spent more time fighting for their own rights than doing what they went there for. Can we put that up in BOLD on huge signs??!! Neon? These people deserve a VERY PUBLIC apology from the police force and the University. Who bought out the cops??!!

All these kids would have to do is take photos of other groups congregating on campus. They would have a slam dunk case.
Hm, do you think it would be that easy?

If other known off campus folks were not getting rousted, then the religious group would have a case for the university singling them out. If the university doesn’t let people from off campus protest there, then they better be enforcing that across the board. Otherwise they can’t say that they removed the religious group on those grounds.
If the religious groups was flashing disgusting signs, even though those signs showed actual abortion scenes, then the group could have been asked to leave because they were showing something in public that was gross. That would be valid grounds.
