I'm very pro-life, but a few things trouble me about this story.
Why in the world would she want to have 8 (!) embryos implanted in her when she already has six young children? And if it was done through Kaiser, why would they recommend this sort of thing? The mother obviously has no problems getting pregnant in the normal fashion. What's the deal here? Why the need for fertility treatments like this?
Another question- who's going to pay the hundreds of thousands of dollars for the many weeks these premature babies spend in intensive care? I certainly hope the taxpayers will not get stuck with the bill?

And if it was done through Kaiser, why would they recommend this sort of thing? They didn't. She showed up at Kaiser already pregnant. That's one of several reasons this story stinks to high heck.
