I know many here won’t every believe it.

I guess since he's been elected RNC chairman, we no longer have to guess, or believe or not believe. Now we begin watching to see what he actually does.

And I'm not opposed to moderates and RINOs being elected from the northeast, or other very blue areas. RINOs are far preferable to Dems (with the exception of a backstabbing grandstander like McCain). But RINOs and moderates will not win any presidential elections, and allowing moderates from blue states to pick our nominee (as they did McCain) and have too much influence in the party is a recipe for more elections like 2006 and 2008.

And there has never been a more disastrous political strategy than the Bush/Rove/McCain pandering to Hispanics strategy. We need no more pandering to specific groups by the Republican party, or its leadership.

Well, you're probably going to be an unhappy camper, then.

A Steele supporter posted a link earlier to the new chairman's "Blueprint."

Part of his plan is do exactly that.

"We’ll also recruit candidates who can cross the ethnic, gender, and demographic divides that too often separate our country and cause confusion about our Party." - Michael Steele

Folks can figure out for themselves what that means, exactly.
