You will always find people who bitch about anyone who does not agree 100% with them. And most of them are here on FR and call those disagreers "RINOs", even though that tired label may be patently false.

According to the absolutists 99.9% of the people on FR, the conservative movement or the Republican party are RINOs.

I've got news for you: both Republicans and Democrats have moved left significantly over the last 40-50 years. Why? Because Democrats require and get loyalty from their candidates to liberal principles, while all we get regarding conservatism from Republicans is lip service, after which they cave in to Democrats on issue after issue. The Republicans have been handily thrown out of office in this last election precisely because they keep betraying conservatism, and thus garner no support from their base, yet you seem to be arguing that we should continue this losing strategy and continue to tolerate rampant liberalism in the Republican Party. As we saw with a Republican president and Congress a few years ago, even when we get to savor the victory of having a bunch of "R"s in office, we still get liberal socialism. Are you sure you want to continue the same tactic that has failed us continuously?

If you think that the term RINO is an antiquated term then you must look into the mirror and ask yourself, “Am I a RINO?”
