A disincentive to take bailouts from taxpayers. Sounds like common-sense to me. Conservatives should love this idea. Amazingly, most here are against it.

I'm with you, however I would go further and, as a condition for getting the bailout, I would demand the resignation of every executive who was responsible for the poor decisions leading to the need for a bailout in the first place.

Why would anyone take a the job of replacing the ousted management knowing their compensation was capped at $400k?
