We don’t need to play the affirmative action game. Michael Steele stand on his own competence.

I agree with you on Steele's competence. I do not agree with any of the "We don't need to..." arguments, because that just means we're not playing the same game as the Democrats.

Any time someone tells me that "we don't need to do...," all I hear is that we're bringing a knife to a gunfight. Like it or not, the Democrats and the MSM make the rules of engagement, and we often choose not to play as rough as they do.

I think Steele has done a masterful job in promoting his candidacy on the public airwaves. He has shown that he can speak for the party in an affable and effective way.
