Just what is a Waygu steak?
The wife and I had a couple of nice strip steaks I picked up on sale today on the way home from work, $3.99 a pound.
I put it on the charcoal grill and celebrated the fact that the House Republicans and the rest of us on Free Republic just ain’t buyin’ this smokescreen.

Wagyu is a breed of cattle bred to yield incredibly tender and well-marbled beef. Japanese Kobe is the most commonly known type, though they raise it in the U.S. now too.
Supposedly, the Kobe beef cattle get fed a diet of beer, receive warm oil massages (great work if you can get it, eh?) and generally avoid anything that would make their meat muscles toughen.

The wife and I had a couple of nice strip steaks I picked up on sale today on the way home from work, $3.99 a pound. I like steak that has some fight left in it, and I think it tastes better. I'd rather eat a tub of butter than a fillet Mignon.
