SPRINGFIELD, Ill. Gov. Rod Blagojevich has told the Illinois Senate impeachment trial that he has "done nothing wrong." He asked how the Senate can oust him based on a criminal complaint that hasn't been proven.
Blagojevich's own words prove "a pattern of abuse of power," the prosecutor at his impeachment trial insisted Thursday, ..
"I'm not giving up hope here. I'm going to keep fighting for the people of Illinois," Blagojevich said as his security detail dropped him off near a side door to the Capitol.

Yea, nothing wrong, corruption doesn’t apply to democrats right? /sarc
But it is great sport to watch his party, his voters, and his political bedfellows pretend he doesn’t exist.
He should have said he didn’t do anything different than the rest of them are doing. It would have been the most honest thing he could have said.
He was all over the media this week talking to anyone that would let him have a live mic to ‘splain his situation
This guy is a trip, whenever he defends himself he goes off on a long tirade about health care, flu shots, and all the “good” he has done.
Its like watching a bank robber tell the judge, “I know I robbed the bank, but how can you put me in prison when I have donated money to charity and saved the baby seals..” lolol

The Rats don’t know any better. Seriously.
“But it is great sport to watch his party, his voters, and his political bedfellows pretend he doesnt exist.”
Blagojevich probably thinks that’s worse than being impeached.
RE “I can’t stand this guy”
I love this guy. Stop being so serious, “he is a democrat”. We need to repeat that pint . If he was a republican . the media would do daily stories speculating on how this hurts republicans.
They just have to get him convicted of something quickly, so that his testimony against Obama can be discredited.
Crazy like a fox.
Looks that way.
Since this is a trial in the Illinois senate, if they vote to remove Blago from office it is considered to have been proven.
Again I am reminded of the Mob bosses apoplectic at Robert De Niro’s character going on TV in ‘Casino.’
He is being persecuted just like Gandi and Mandela were/sarc
