A hidden story here is that this vote was 14 votes away from failing. That’s almost as many Dems that voted against it. Amazing! I heard on the radio this morning that some, if not all of the Dems voted against it because it wasn't aggressive enough in the government spending Dept. In other words it wasn't big enough, or liberal enough. I am not sure that they should be congratulated for doing the right thing for the wrong reasons.
