We have reduced output due to the economic down turn. The next couple of years will be very interesting and we may find that we need to increase the CO2 output to keep the temps UP.

If CO2 warms the planet, why was it cooling in the 1970s, before major pollution controls were in effect?

Output has been reduced for the past 15 years or more. The downturn is quite recent.
