A friend and I have talked recently about trying to put together a “Constitution Study Group,” for the purpose of establishing communication links between like-minded people. Not so much weapon-oriented, paramilitary stuff (though I’m intensely devoted to RKBA), but rather learn who shares beliefs and attitudes and what knowledge and skills they can bring. Conservatives (and certainly shooters) are generally independent types who don’t organize in this manner very often. I myself tend to be pretty reclusive. In this present climate that’s a glaring weakness.

I do that on a daily basis. I’m not a Christian, but I do “witness” as far as the Bill of Rights is concerned.

VR-21, I’m reclusive as well and like the “Constitution Study Group” idea. Perhaps local sport and rec clubs have something going. I did pursue an allegiance with an aforementioned internet group only to be belittled for asking a question. But I’m on enough forums that I should be able to find my place. In the interim I’ll work on distribution of Tom’s “Alarm and Muster” and study group formation as I have some things to hopefully offer.

A friend and I have talked recently about trying to put together a Constitution Study Group,
That's a great idea because too many people have not READ The US Constitution.
The 16th Amendment applies only to Corporations.
Article 1, Section 3 explains the Founding Fathers' desires for Senators but the Progressives conned Congress into passing the 17th Amendment. We MUST work to get the 17th Amendment repealed. And we MUST educate our Legislators that the 16th Amendment as written doesn't apply to the Private Individual. If they want to "change" it . . . they can Abolish it . . . and have a lower National Tax, because there's no reason for US Taxpayers to pay for more Big Government that was added since 1913.
Think about it. We use the 16th Amendment AS WRITTEN and Corporate Taxes will pay for the Military Expenses, and have a SMALL National Sales tax . . . and Washington, DC, has to rewrite their budget because the Founding Fathers didn't intend to pay Congresspeople and Presidents FOR LIFE neither did the Founding Fathers wish to give Congress and the President the "retirement package" to lie for . . . they were supposed to have REAL JOBS before they served, with NOMINAL PAY, their Country for a couple or several years.
If we could just educate the sheeple about the Founding Fathers principles . . . some would still want a free ride.
