Yay for conservatism. After saying “yes” to every bit of government growing legislation for the last 8 years we finally say “no” and it’s a good day.
Down with all of them. Praising mediocrity does no one any good, especially the praiser.
Good on Ms. Malkin. Judging by the article, she isn’t praising mediocrity. She’s giving credit where it’s due. Neither is Ms. Malkin suggesting that we trust the RINO’s.
I am confident that had the Republicans supported this scheme, FReepers wouldn’t have been using far more colorful metaphors to express their objections and outrage than Ms. Malkin did at the conclusion of her article.
I will also give credit to those Republicans, but if they believe that this responsible act will earn the trust of the people, they are sorely mistaken.
This is a classic stumbling block with conservatives. If an educated columnist such as Ms. Malkin or Ms. Coulter missteps (in the opinion of the critic) but a little, they have to endure the wrath.
We, as conservatives, are going to have to be unify as a force and examine not just those issues with which we disagree on, but support one another on the bigger issues.
