The lone conservative voice on the Times op-ed page is history.
Bill Kristol, the op-ed pages lone conservative, has been unceremoniously booted out the door by the Times. Kristols Monday contribution, Will Obama Save Liberalism? concluded with the sad line: This is William Kristols last column.
Im ambivalent, Kristol said. Its been fun. Its a lot of work. I have a lot of things going on. But I havent really focused on it.
Kristols not the only conservative in the world, said an unnamed and completely fictional Times spokesperson. We were negotiating with Karl Marx, but the rest of our editorial staff made it clear they dont want anyone that conservative on our staff.
Thank goodness! Kristol’s an elitist FIRST. Now, if only Peggy Noonan sees the same fate....
LOL! He is such a RINO like Fred Barnes, George Will, Peggy Noona, Buckley’s kid (poor Bill) and a few others I am missing.
WWAAAAAAAHHHHHAAAAAABBBAAAAAHHAAAAA....!!!!
With Obama ensconced in the White House, and Democrats running the Congress and the government, what need does the New York Times have of even a token quasi-conservative like Bill Kristol? None. Now if the Times can just manage to make its payroll this week, all will be well.
Fair and Balanced.
The AJC did the same thing...when they got rid of the afternoon paper even though it ruined their circulation.
NY Times fires only slightly conservative columnist
Don’t feel bad, the NY Times is so awful they have to get money from a Mexican billionaire just to stay afloat. The NY Times is a fake newspaper with fake reporters. Propaganda only worthy of grocery store check out lines is the NY Times.
bingo- it was all a fraud and a show from the get-go for the NYSlimes....
If you’re going to post articles such as this, PLEASE indicate that it is satire because lots of folks will miss that fact.......LOL!
They probably can’t afford to pay him any longer.
This may save the NYT. They have identified the problem - their news and editorials aren’t liberal enough.
It’s satire, right?
.
If the NY times were money, we’d all have funny money.
Bill Kristol is a conservative? Sounds like another liberal lie from NYT
Liberal, RINO. Gave up on him years ago.
I’m sure they really are looking for a “Karl Marx”.
