Apparently, the New York
Times has tightened up on expense account rules. It used to be permissable for one staffer to take another staffer out and charge the company for the meal. That has been eliminated. The
Times has also put caps on the amounts that can be reimbursed for meals, ($50 for lunch, $100 for dinner).
So you can see why MoDo is upset. She can blow $100 at the bar before she even sits down for dinner...
