I live in Illinois, so we are hearing about all this 24/7. Today, a Repub state senator said that the Dems cut the witness list short, to speed things up. He says that we need to take our time and do it right. The dems sure are in a hurry to get it finished.

He’s a slimeball, has been dipping into State pension funds like it’s his private piggy bank, is a total pay to player, has helped put our state billions of dollars into debt, and the sooner he’s outa here, the better.
