More ‘good news’. Wow, whatta difference a week makes...

Plus, I know I read somthing and can’t find it again - about Google saying computers would soon be un-needed and everything would ‘be stored on the web’.

Take away our communication? Not sure, need to find that again.

We're moving away from the client-server model back to the mainframe / dumb-terminal model.

The High Priests will manage our programs and files for us so long as we behave and our telecom bill is paid up.

.

That is how WebTV Plus and MSN-TV2 work

A set-top receiver - no hard drive - little memory needed

All my saved, 6 email accounts, operating system, favorites - sored by MSN servers in So-Cal

You would still be able to store on your own personal hardware on a PC if you wanted to

Big point is MSN screens out viruses, bugs, Trojans heading for Mexico.....
