It is really sad that so few can cause so many to suffer so badly for no other reason than power and greed.

When man respects nothing above himself, this is the outcome.

We are approaching a severe testing point of our Nation. We will soon see what kind of metal we are really made out of.

Barry may be glomming on to a situation that is near it’s end...to look like he is the Saviour.

I don’t want to send U.S. troops there, but if sanctions can topple Mugabe, I favor them.

With Democrats in the WH and controlling congress, and the Pentagon's new African Command, look for US troops to be deployed somewhere in sub-Saharan Africa in the next 4 years. Zimbabwe, Dharfur... take your pick. It'll start off as a "humanitarian" mission, but evolve into another Somalia.

People are dropping like flies in Zimbabwe. Exactly what else can we cut off to make Mugabe leave?

""We have leverage over Russia and we are working on China," one diplomat told The Times."

Curious, another diplomatic effort through the foreign press.

The first one was with a Mohhamedan TV station. Now, The Times.

The Times leak, of course, is subject to denial. But, an Africa message has been sent to the Rooskies and the Red Chinese.

What sanctions against any country/leader have ever worked?

Some people think they played a role in ending apartheid in South Africa. Right now I think most Freepers would favor sanctions against Iran.
