Gee, even the Canadians got it wrong. What Rush actually said was ‘I support my President but I want his policies to fail’ (paraphrased). He said it in the same spirit as those on the Left who say ‘I support the troops but I don’t support the war (or their mission).

I think that's a great comparison. I plan on using that when one of my libtard co-workers asks me if I support their hero.
I've responded to that question before with sarcasm: "Yeah, I really want Obama to succeed in destroying our currency with his pork-laden redistribution...ahem, stimulus...bill".
