Yea, trash Rush instead of pouncing on the opportunity he laid at your feet.
Idiots.
“Mr. Smith Has Left Washington”
Many here still fall for it.
“Leader” implies someone who has a goal and is working toward it. I don’t see any Republican “leaders” in national elective office. They are still trying to figure out which way to jump to be popular.
Uh, Tom, you missed the point here. McConnell and Bohmer along with many of you cowards DON'T do what's best for "your people and your party."
Rush and Hannity speak the truth. You belong to a party of wimps and YOU, (NOT us, nor Rush nor Hannity) people have all but destroyed the GOP with your spineless "leading." McConnell and Boehner are supposed to be leaders but I don't recall seeing them going after the RATS who are involved in criminal activities. You are pathetic losers!
But...but...Boehner’s hair is....perfect!
HA! Even the GOP is trying to shut him up? They have more in common with Hussein than they do us common folk.
Republican Leadership. Thats an oxymoron. Every one of our so-called leaders is a total p*ssy. They are useless! Thank God for Rush. He’s the only one willing to stick up for whats right.
This is why (again today), I ripped up yet another RNC request for money. They have lost any future funding from me because of this attitude. They lost the election because of their unwillingness to stand up for conservative values. They lost my respect because of their unwillingness to stand up for Sarah Palin. They should be listening to Rush daily—and taking notes.
Never thot I’d be saying this but we need a new party, a Conservative Party.
Oh my, looks like you already started.
Well at least he would be doing something useful
These two guys are a fresh breath to the toxic waste we have representing us in DC. It's time for a change in conservatives that are in DC. I think those that are in the GOP need to seriously asses there position and decide whether or not they still believe in true conservative values, if you don't, GET OUT!
Call me a ditto-head, call me late for dinner, call me whatever, but with current leadership in the GOP wanting to play nice with 0bama and his socialist agenda, don’t call me a Republican. Like, Rush, I don’t want 0bama to succeed with his socialist agenda.
I hope Senator McConnell and Minority Leader Boehner understand that what will win elections is not a yes attitude but a true opposition party based on conservative policies. These principles include smaller government, individual freedoms, lower taxes, strong ethics and a clear protection of life. These have been articulated by Rush daily since the election. If they don’t get this message, the GOP is doomed for a long time.
Get a spine and be in opposition. The votes aren’t there to enact much change but the majority of the American public is more supportive of a conservative agenda than the socialist garbage proposed by Pelosi and Reid that will be signed by 0bama. Put up opposing proposals instead of just saying NO. That will help to win some seats back in 2010.
**Amen to how Rush responded to this:**
That’s basically what we’ve been saying, although he’s being much more Diplomatic than I could EVER BE!!
Yeah...that’s the ticket...attack the spokesman for the conservative base. Brilliant! The party let us down with McPain, now just keep it up...
Winning the election wasn’t enough for the liberal media, including Politico. They want to destroy the Republican party and the Conservative movement.
“Divide and conquer.”
Last two paragraphs are interesting:
Asked to respond to Price, Limbaugh, in an email to Politico, wrote: I don’t know Tom Price. I’m sure he is doing his best but it does not appear to be good enough. He may not have noticed that the number of Republican colleagues he has in the House has dwindled. And they will dwindle more if he and his friends don’t show more leadership and effectiveness in battling the most left-wing agenda in modern history. And they won’t continue to lose because of me, but because of their relationship with the grassroots, which is hurting. Conservatives want leadership from those who claim to represent them. And we’ll know it when we see it.
The back and forth comes as some on the right speak more openly about what they perceive as the lack of leadership in the Republican Party. Unapologetic conservatives, like Limbaugh would prefer to see elected Republicans confront the new president. But many GOP officials, daunted by the new presidents approval rating and what they believe is fatigue on the part of voters over partisan fighting, are loath to openly criticize Obama.
