My favorite memory is Pres Bush on top of the rubble with his arm around the firefighter after 9/11. We needed someone to take the helm and lead and he did! B.Hussein would’ve been circling NY in the safety of AF1. looking down on his subjects. Pussy.

President Bush fist-bumping with an Air Force Academy graduate.

Unfortunately Pres. Bush did put himself in that position exactly when it came to the Federal response to Katrina. Yes, I know, it was the responsibility of the State and locals to deal with the immediate preparation/evacuation/response, but President Bush on the ground would have spiked a lot of the MSM bull on that. He was perceived as doing a “flyover” of New Orleans, and perceptions is what it’s all about.

My favorite one was when Bush threw out the first ball for the World Series in Yankee Stadium.

There he was in a crowd of hundreds of thousands of people .. standing on the mound - totally alone - ripe for a sniper - and you never saw him sweat one drop.

Bush loved baseball and I believe it was his dream to pitch a game in the World Series. And .. there he was living his dream while showing America that we would never cower or live in fear.

I shed a few tears that night .. at his remarkable courage.
