After all the outcry against Prop 8, we expected a massive presence of the gay community and their friends, by definition also a pro-abortion community, at our pro-abortion rally but now we know, the gay community is not serious about building a movement to win gay marriage. If and when they find the 'gay gene' and expecting Moms could abort a child for being gay ... would that not change the gay community's view on tying gay rights to abortion rights? It might be the other way. If we respect the unborn more, no matter their status, then we respect those fellow humans who have a different sexual orientation.

Bingo. If anything, gays should be anti-abortion. I see it, and a few others I know see it, but too many buy into the idea of solidarity with other leftist activists. It’s hard to respect people who just sign on entirely to one agenda without thinking through each issue.
