Romney was solely responsible for the institution of gay marriage in Massachusetts.

“solely responsible”? Never mind that Mass supreme court Goodrich decision that Romney immediately condemned. Never mind the legislature undercutting Romney’s attempt to get a constitutional amendment or the Democrat AG backstabbing him when he wanted a stay of the order. Never mind that, Romney dared to obey a lawful order of the supreme court and that makes him ‘solely responsible’ and EV will damn well rewrite history if need be to make his point. Romney, the dictator of Massachusetts, was ‘solely responsible’ even though he was opposed 100% throughout. It is sad that EV has to tell falsehoods to make his case.
Further sad that energy that should be devoted to making conservative arguments and defeating liberal agendas - like Obama’s abortion decisions, the boondoggle stimulus, wrong way on gitmo, etc - is instead diverted in the pointless infighting against a conservative editor whose only real crime is not agreeing 100% with some pointy-headed extremists on some obscure points.
I regret voting for Keyes. I should have voted for Romney, to at least send a message to the extremists to stop being buttheaded fools and get real. Their excessive and misdirected zeal is harmful to the very cause they hope to serve.
