CORPUS CHRISTI Corpus Christi police on Monday released the name of the man killed Friday in the 1500 block of Lazy Lane, identifying him as Albert Medrano, 34, of Corpus Christi.
Investigators believe Medrano and two other men were trying to rob the home about 10:45 p.m. when the homeowner began firing rounds, hitting and killing Medrano.
Medrano was found shot in the back seat of an older model, maroon Lincoln Town Car in front of the house.
A 35-year-old man, also shot multiple times, was listed in critical condition Monday at Christus Spohn Hospital Memorial's intensive care unit. Police are not releasing the name of the homeowner or any of three who were found shot.
Police also are still looking for another man who left a 250 yard blood trail behind and fled the scene.
According to police, Medrano and the other two men are listed in the police data base as known prison gang members.

Way to go, Corpus Christi. That’s two fewer scumbags my dad has to worry about.

Police also are still looking for another man who left a 250 yard blood trail behind and fled the scene. What is the record distance for a leaking human being before they run out of blood? I suppose it depends on the number of holes...

The best part is they were gang members.

Oh, I don’t think he was shot in the back seat of the car...
A comma by the “writer” should have been inserted.....

The shooter should get a medal! I wouldn't get that all enthused.
I bet this house wasn't chosen randomly and that there is some kind of rival gang association. Of course, I have always been in favor of violent gang wars. No matter who loses, we win.

Good for him. Unfortunately the crooks’ relatives will probably sue him.

Excellent. Now, instead of slapping down 155 million tax dollars towards condoms (in Pelosi’s world this would cut cost)we should actually be passing out ammo and coupons good for free range time. Obviously this one home owner saved a ton of taxpayer dollars with some mighty well placed rounds. Ka-chinga $$$.

Let me see if I can figure out what you’re trying to say here....
Ok..
The “writer” makes it sound like the perp was shot by the homeowner while the perp was sitting in the back seat of a car. Big difference.
No reason to call me names....
