I agree with this statement except we shouldn't ask, we should tell them we're going to do so....as instructed by the United States Senate. If they're going to give Geithner the benefit of the doubt, so must we be given the same benefit.
Not to mention, the IRS also gave Geithner several breaks that us common folks rarely see - no lien, no levy, no wage garnishment, and no friggin' penalties - which is mandatory on amounts over $5000.
We need to not let this issue fade away. The rest of us little people are the worker bees who produce the wages that the IRS confiscates from us in increasing amounts. They in turn give that money to Congress so they can spend it like drunken sailors on pork barrel projects that end up mainly enriching THEM!
And I for one am sick of it!
