Even conservative stalwart Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), who had held up her confirmation because of the major conflict of interest posed by Bill Clinton’s foundation accepting millions in donations from foreign nations and interests, voted for Clinton.

Cornyn’s vote came after Sen. John McCain (RINO-Az) went to the Senate floor to call Cornyn’s objections “gratuitous.”

That McCain, what a maverick!

The Holder nomination vote is the first tipping point in the 111th Congress: conservatives can either make a good fight and possibly defeat Holder, or they can earn a place of irrelevance for the next two years.

McCain and his altar boy are desperate for conservative irrelevance.

It is a fundamental mistake to wish President Obama success. We, as conservatives, want America to succeed. If the president takes actions that comport with conservative principles -- which we believe are the best means to help America -- Republicans should help him. When he does not, we must oppose him forcefully.

Here Here! Are any Republicans in Congress aware of this however?

Get use to it taxlady. McCain isn't the most hated republican for nothing. This is a good example. He should just come out of the closet and switch parties.

The Juan McCain Truth File.

(Stop getting pings by sending the subject line drop mccaintruthfile.)

Republican Commissar’s Warning: By joining this ping list, you may be subjected to the delusional rants and ramblings of McCainiacs, of "moderate" Republicans, of pragmatic conservatives resigned to voting for the lesser of two Democrats, and of countless GOP shills who simply want to meet a new overlord.

“Dispirited Senate Republicans enabled Hillary Clinton to be confirmed to be Secretary of State by a vote of 94-2.”

Who were the two heros?

Sens. DeMint (R-SC) and Vitter (R-LA).

DeMint & Vitter....”dispirited Republicans enabled...”?????They didn’t have to do it...she would have been confirmed anyway given the balance in the Senate. And what about Geithner? Guess they’re all going to “rally-round” the majority and vote for him as well?

I find it amusing that moderate RINO’s are attacking Rush Limbaugh, rather than fighting the insanity coming from the leftwing congress and White House.

And isn’t that the real problem, RINO’s undercutting their own party, and their base of support, as usual?

Cornyn is the epitome of “hesitancy”. There should be his picture in the dictionary next to the word.
