Kyl went all wobbly kneed on comprehensive immigration reform. He had been a fierce opponent of amnesty prior to that. Not sure what happened. I had really respected him before that. He seems much better than McCain, but I lost a lot of faith in him after that.

Jon Kyl is as conservative as they come. And why would it be strange for McCain to back his fellow AZ US Senator.

Kyl is third in senator minority leadership.

>> Seriously, wtf is McCain high on???

Kyl (indeed ANY senator) for POTUS is a non-starter, IMO.

As for what McCain is high on, I can’t help you there... never known of or experienced anything that produces quite that... state of confusion.

McCain...once a jerk, always a jerk. I am so angry that he was our competitor in the race against the ONE. He came no where near in charisma, has no backbone, no ....ah heck, sorry, the fight’s over and we lost. But I will never have a good word for McCain. He is too selfish.

He must be mad! Sarah’s the sole reason that campaign had any chance at all!

Without Palin, McCain would have lost by another 10 points.

I know nothing about Kyl.

Now that he has McCain’s endorsement, I know all I ever want or need to know.

He is one of the good guys! Proud to have him as one of my senators.

No one will ever accuse me of being one of Sarah's cheerleaders, but I think it's fine that Juan doesn't endorse her. In the first place, this shows what an ungracious idiot he is (his campaign picked her to run with him for pity sakes)In the second place, she needs to distance herself from this idiot, particularly on issues such as amnesty.

Agreed.

McCain is a turd that simply won't flush.

He would be a real stinker to have around a great lady like Governor Palin.

Is there any doubt that McCain and even his daughter will do everything they can to stop Palin from being nominated? And if she is, I’ll bet he’ll support Obama.

If Kyl wants a future, he’d better get a million miles from McCain as soon as possible, and tell McCain never to allow his name to cross his lips. I don’t think I’m unusual among Republicans in seeing any positive word from McCain as a kiss of death.

Even if Palin runs, it’s unlikely she would emerge from the primaries as the party’s nominee. She’d probably drop out after South Carolina. She had her opportunity and blew it. Besides, Republicans will never nominate a woman. Voters would rather have a black man as president than a woman. Just ask Hillary.

I’m against whoever he endorses. Palin needs to publicly tell no thanks on the endorsement.

McCain threw this election and now sucks after Obama to feed his ego.

I can’t take anyone seriously once they have admitted they will never vote for a woman. Get lost.

Sorry, but McCain and the media are NOT picking our candidate in 2012.

Senator Kyl was just on Bill Bennett and stated that he felt voting for the first stimulus bill was right and will vote for the next one as well.

Our strong REPUBLICAN leadership at work...

So I supposed McCain is voting for the stimulus after campaigning on cutting spending. What a LOSER.
