About 35 years ago my brother got picked up for unpaid parking tickets and thrown in to the Saint Petersberg Florida jail.
About an hour after booking a riot broke out. Inmates lit mattresses on fire and guards set off gas.
David said he took off his socks to breath through and got an inch off the floor and forever paid his parking tickets.
I’ll bet he never forgets that experience. Never in a thousand years. Glad he wasn’t hurt, just scared almost to death.
