President Obama is pushing lawmakers to quickly approve a massive economic stimulus designed in part to create 3 to 4 million new jobs and provide tax breaks to businesses and individuals ($500 for most individual workers and $1,000 for couples). Critics from both parties say the $825 billion package is too costly and won't give a boost quickly enough. Obama says he's trying to incorporate the criticism but stay on target for a Feb. 16th approval.
