We probably spent hundreds of millions setting up Guantanamo. Combining prisoners captured by the military with the ordinary prison population does not sound like a good idea. Having them in any place where people can easily reach to stage demonstrations does not sound like a good idea.

We should leave Guantanamo open but streamline and clarify the procedure for determining the ultimate status and sentence of each prisoner.

I see you have made a well thought out proposal but there is a potential problem with your solution.

It wouldn't be long before some of these terrorists will be tried and its possible some will be found innocent.

Then they would join the democrat party and get elected to public office.
Some could even end up as Senators and Representatives, not to mention college professors and high level bureaucrats.

It's the only way to be sure."

Build a new facility on Cape Cod, near Hyannis Port. They can share the view with Teddy and Caroline.

I think the Gitmo detainees should be moved to Jane Harman's district.

Wherever they end up, it better be in a Democratic city ideally one in which their representatives opposed their Guantanamo detention.

I like San Francisco, Hawaii, Chicago, NYC, Murtha or Reid’s home district as their new homes with San Francisco, Chicago and NYC having the slight edge.

yea, you could split them all up and put them in different supermax prisons, then room them up with someone whose been in there for a very long time.

We’ll have to find some way to silence them to ensure that they can’t spread jihad theology/thinking while incarcerated either.

Where do we put the Gitmo detainees?

How about the White House? They would feel at home there with kindred spirits who hate America.

We could quickly erect a WW-II style POW camp complete with electrified barbed wire and guards with shoot to kill orders for any prisoner caught beyond the wire. I would suggest that we build it in the Nevada desert and call it Camp Harry Reid.

Alcatraz was my first thought too. What better place is there than ‘the rock’?

Let’s put them up at the White House. Obama can choose the “Prisoner of the Day” to shoot hoops with. I’m sure that Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Schumer et al, will provide aid and comfort to the enemy as they have done for so many years.

I agree. But I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if Barry puts them in a Southern red state, because that’s just the kind of petty spiteful tyrant he is. After all, as he reminded the Republicans, “I won”. That means he’s ruler of the universe and all shall bow down and worship His Blackness. Of course, the stupid congressional Republicans don’t need to be told that they’re now just lackeys in Congress (we still have to appear to have two parties for form’s sake, at least for now), they are ready and willing to assume the position. Incarcerate the terrorists near Congress.

I’m sure that Barry and the left wouldn’t dream of interfering with their freedom of religion, they reserve that for Bible-believing Christians.

Ha, ha, that’s actually funny. I think the Administration’s decisions regarding Gitmo have been pretty idiotic. They came to a conclusion about what they wanted to do prior to actually studying the issue at any length. They jumped the gun and now the only room left is to back pedal. They are starting to realize this, which is why they’re currently blaming the CIA and Bush Administration for the very real complications with Gitmo. The more they learn, the more they’ll realize that handling these detainees is not so easy, it’s not so cut and dry. Maybe they’ve been able to see by now that no other country wants to babysit the detainees either, lol.

Let them loose in her district. They couldn’t do any more harm to America than Pelosi’s voters.....

I think the detainees all belong in John Murtha’s district, unsupervised, to teach Pennsylvanians a lesson. Elections matter.
