Do you mean “legalize,” regulate similar to the way we regulate alcohol? Or do you mean “decriminalize” like several states have already done where they don’t allow for production or sales and they give people what is basically like a traffic ticket when they find them with a small amount?

I think I mean legalize and decriminalize and grant an amnesty
and pardon to most if not all presently incarcerated for this very debatable crime . Exposed to the light of day ,and reality , in this way , it would cease to be a problem in so many ways , and cease to be a gigantic cost that we are all forced to bear . The laws ‘protect’ no one ,as anyone that is inclined to ‘smoke it ‘ will smoke it regardless . This is a set of laws that only creates victims and protects no one .
Parents being honest and open with their children is the answer , not draconian laws that criminalize millions for no good reason.
