And I also think that the machine may -- just possibly -- be breaking down.

There is almost a desperation among the elites to hold old patterns together. Who really thinks Citi, Morgan and BofA can hold together regardless of the tax money being pumped in? What is it that GM is bringing to the table that we just can't do without? And yet... you just know the fix is in.

I have been wondering at the panic to confirm Geithner. He would become the head of the PPT. I wonder if we are going to see the implementation of the Clinton market strategy to calm things down? The government has certainly given all the likely players enough money to reinflate the DJIA. That would bring the younger zerOids back in line. They have been telling us all that since they are young, they have *the timeline* in their favor and so, they aren’t panicked.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. I don’t doubt there are quite a few who will be watching Mr. Treasury Secretary quite closely, at least for a while.
