Catholic ping!
thanks, i’ll put it on now. it’s too bad they don’t podcast.
THen we dozed off for a nap.
Woke up and they had cut away from the live coverage of the Pro Life Rally.
As I posted on another thread I am curious if any other News network is reporting on this week ends Rally?
There was a some really good speakers who really got in depth on the sanctity of life that had my ears perked and had a pro choice person heard those people I was thinking that could get them looking at this issue in a new light.
THe one gal who worked for the govt office and the stats she started seeing on woman who were getting up to 1,2,3,and 4 abortions a year.
Besides the obvious loss of lives I was thinking how much irreversible damage this may have on these womens bodies.
One Father in SF was bold enough to say they were rallying in a City that is not the (my term inserted) the Holiest of places.
Cant remember his exact words but he was rather blunt is his description of some of the inhabitants of San Fran.
What I was pondering on is that Christian Conservatives do not as Ann Coulter said about Conservatives go out in droves to protest every event that they oppose.
This is what makes the Pro Life so intense. No one can honestly say oh those (insert many names used to describe conservatives) are out protesting again and again.
EWTN (new to our cable/tv since Christmas) has been such a HUGE Gift to our daily Catholic walk.
Being more home bound as we age due to severe medically fragile disabilities and more so in Flu/pneumonia season having this link to the Catholic teachings and insight is awesome.
We are blessed to have had Eucharistic ministers over the year and now our Priest who is one of the most awesome men for God I have ever met comes every other week.
We maybe grown adults but the childrens programs are even fun to watch as some are simplistic and easy to grasp so it embeds some basics in theology.
How many are you expecting to show up in the Freeper Group?
Hope many turn out.
How is th temps and weather there.
Wising you guys some tolerable temps.
I was hoping the Sunshine would come out bright!
