Thanks. Good follow up points on yours as well. The "no fire" rule in France works the same way as our 'rent control'. No new housing built in those areas that enacted it and hence a 'homeless problem'. The Dems would like an 'anti-Atlas Shrugged' rule to keep businesses within their grasp. I have no problem with companies going off shore or elsewhere. Under these conditions, it is a rational decision.
Everything that gov't does, that isn't part of the original constitution (of Natural Law) ends up resulting in 180 degrees of what was intended. "More housing" ends up in less housing units. "Save the family farm" drives family farms out of business. "Better education" ends in programed socialist robots. "A nation without poverty" ('Great Society' aim), institutionalizes poverty. "Better healthcare" gets healthcare that most can't afford and National Healthcare will result in death and suffering. Pick your issue, run it through the 'gov't filter' and you get just the opposite of what's intended.
You can no more violate Natural Law and expect good results, than you can by violating the law of gravity.
