He simply can't comprehend any other point of view ~ he barely remembers what his own points of view are supposed to be. If he lost Axelrod and Rahm he'd be reduced to reading comic books and unzipping his pants for consolation.

Yup, FDR cut government worker's pay ~ and at the time almost all the government workers were Postal Workers. He tried to save the economy by jiggering with the Postal Service.
Obama will shortly be tellin gyou that you need a pay cut. Biden will tell you it's your patriotic duty to take one.

What you say is true. And there were other small battles won along the way - Michael Milken put many current companies on the map - we would have never heard of Ted Turner (unless you were a sailboat enthusiast) or Ross Perot, and many others without Milken.
But there was no dismantling of the true Socialist programs that are intact to this day. And yeah, there were a few things that Reagan was able to accomplish but he promised to do away with the Dept. of Energy and Education and actually ended up expanding the DoEd. with Terrill Bell whose first job was supposed to be to dissolve it.
Ronaldus Magnus did away with more Socialism in _other_ countries than this one. ;-) ... unfortunately. Having a Dem congress didn’t help. Imagine Reagan with the ‘94 congress - although as I stated they had their share of RINOs as well.
He hasn't got a hair if he doesn't submit a bill for Congress to pass to enable dueling in this country (on federal issues of course).
From that viewpoint you’re right but Rush would not be surprised at such a comment. He’s been in Obama’s head since Operation Chaos. Obama tried to deflect it with an earlier comment with his fake ‘nonchalance’ but I don’t think he fooled many.

Didn’t the Congressional Class of ‘95 dub themselves “The Dittohead Caucus” ??? Obama better watch out.
And unless he already had ‘inside info’ - I think the timeline is off for that - Rush actually predicted it without the direct reference to him: (from today’s show)
“Obama had a meeting with congressional leaders today, and it’s a wild guess, but my assumption is that there’s going to be an attempt made to separate elected Republicans in the House and Senate from their voters.
The effort’s going to be, “Don’t listen to what your voter says. It’s not the way this is going to get done. We’re not going to get things done up here unless we work together my way.” “
Obama changed that to ‘don’t listen to what Rush says....’ but it is almost word for word.
