Then watch as the enlightened residents of the People’s Republic of Sad Sickfreako “liberate” the terrorists and welcome them to the People’s Republic (then again some may say that after 20JAN the entire United States is a peoples republic). And then how Al Queda shows gratitude for this act of “liberation”. What then would be the reaction of the liberal media?
Aw, come on. The conditions will make them feel right at home, as if they’re back in Afghanistan or Iraq!
The Kittyhawk has just been decommissioned. Put them on that and park it 200 miles offshore.
If they get rowdy use it for target practice and send it to the bottom.
They cannot not be tried in any courts other then military and cannot be sent to any prison other then the type they are in.
SuperMax does not have enough room.
The Park Service would fight tooth and nail if you tried to take The Rock away from them.
It would cost a gazillion dollars to rehab Alcatraz.

Hm, that’s a good idea... also add in no-fly, no-sail, and no-submersion zones there (with lethal enforcement) and there we go.
:-)
“It would cost a gazillion dollars to rehab Alcatraz.”
At least we would see something [usable] come of it, unlike these bail-outs... [/cynic]
Rehab? No. As is.
I’d suggest that if the prisoners can’t all be re-located to Murtha’s district, then they all be released outside the gates of Guantanamo and let them fend for themselves.
Maybe A’stan but definitely not Iraq. Remember what Mark Twain had to say - “The coldest winter I ever spent was one summer in San Francisco”.
Do we really want to hear anymore eurowhining about these f**ks? I say give ‘em 20 US dollars, a new suit and set ‘em outside the gate on the Cuban side at 3 am.
Seriously folks let’s campaign to have the terrorists kept at Alcatraz. Why not? Why can’t we start a grass root effort for them to go there? If anyone knows how to do this let me know.
